Hello senior Art. Welcome to Fall 2013. We’ve got some exciting things planned for you this semester. As with most of my classes, a lap top is a very helpful. This year we will continue with the mash up style of Art. Examining historically important works with modern day aesthetics. There will also be an emphasis on personalizing your work by including elements that inspire you. We will explore a variety of media, including digital elements as well as ceramics.

Week 1: WIN-Spiration

Your first project will be building an online portfolio and sketchbook

This year your Prezi portfolio will go beyond simply images and colours to inspire you. You’ll also be using it to demonstrate your understanding of key concepts.

5 images for each “Board” which you will build using Prezi.

Your board topics include: Attempt to find high resolution images please. You will need to print off images on some occasions.

You will be referencing your board through out the class for inspiration and you are free to add to it through out the year! You will receive a Rubric next class but your assessment will include layout neatness and cohesiveness of your project.
